1. Introduction

Funded Edge is committed to maintaining the highest standards of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance. This policy outlines our procedures and controls designed to prevent the use of our platform for money laundering, terrorist financing, or any other illicit financial activity.

We operate as a skill-based sports prediction challenge platform. While our services do not constitute gambling, we recognize the importance of robust AML measures to protect the integrity of our platform and comply with applicable regulations.

2. Know Your Customer (KYC) Requirements

Funded Edge implements KYC procedures to verify the identity of all users who request payouts from the platform. We have engaged Didit (didit.me) as our designated KYC control provider for automated identity verification. Our KYC process includes:

  • Identity Verification: Users must provide a valid government-issued photo ID (passport, driver's license, or national identity card). Verification is processed through Didit's automated identity verification platform, which performs document authentication and liveness checks.
  • Proof of Address: A recent utility bill, bank statement, or official government document confirming the user's residential address (dated within the last 3 months).
  • Automated Verification: Didit's verification platform authenticates submitted documents, performs biometric liveness detection, and screens against global watchlists and sanctions databases in real time.
  • Enhanced Due Diligence: Additional verification may be required for high-value transactions, politically exposed persons (PEPs), or users from high-risk jurisdictions.

3. Customer Due Diligence (CDD)

We perform due diligence on all users commensurate with the level of risk they present:

  • Standard Due Diligence: Applied to all users upon registration and payout requests, including identity verification and address confirmation.
  • Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD): Applied to users who present a higher risk, including those requesting large or frequent payouts, users from high-risk countries, or users flagged by our monitoring systems.
  • Ongoing Monitoring: We continuously monitor user accounts and transactions for unusual or suspicious activity.

4. Transaction Monitoring

Funded Edge monitors all financial transactions on the platform to detect suspicious activity. Our monitoring includes:

  • Monitoring payout requests for unusual patterns, frequency, or amounts.
  • Tracking account activity to detect potential structuring or layering of funds.
  • Identifying accounts with minimal challenge activity but frequent payout requests.
  • Flagging accounts that show signs of collusion or coordinated activity.
  • Reviewing accounts where the source of funds may not align with typical user behavior.

5. Suspicious Activity Reporting

Funded Edge will report any suspicious transactions or activities to the relevant authorities as required by law. Our procedures include:

  • Internal investigation of flagged transactions by our compliance team.
  • Filing of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) with appropriate financial intelligence units when required.
